The Nigeria Football Federation elections was held on Thursday 20th September 2018 and Amaju Melvin Pinnick returns as the President of the federation. This is a landslide feat as non of the past Glass House chiefs has ever survived a reelection bids. Congratulations Pinnick! However, the 1st term was marred by consistent court cases and infraction by aggrieved parties that contested the election which Pinnick emerged from to become NFF President. This tussles apparently rendered the 1st tenure tumultuous and the result was imminent FIFA ban until the intervention of the Federal government. Pinnick, as a matter of necessity, must bring all football stakeholders together and find lasting solutions to the reoccurring crises that has been hampering smooth running of the round leather game in Nigeria.
